This presentation summarizes Dr. Xia’s research findings in supply chain competition, market segmentation, matching and sourcing, and introduces her on-going research programs in service supply chain management and sustainable operations. In particular, the presentation emphasizes on two research projects, one finished, the other ongoing. The finished project studies the competition and market segmentation for suppliers in a competitive product supply chain with multiple suppliers and many buyers. The ongoing project investigates a service supply chain with multiply call centers competing for clients’ jobs. Her other research projects will also be briefly introduced if time permits.
