Research and Teaching Interests

Professor Un's research interests include comparing innovativeness of foreign and domestic firms, how R&D investments, R&D collaborations, R&D outsourcing, and the management of people influence innovation. She has taught international business courses at PhD, MBA, and undergraduate levels.

Industry and Academic Experience

Prior to joining Northeastern University, Professor Un was a faculty member at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of business. Before earning her doctorate from MIT, she was a financial analyst for the Ford Motor Company.

Professional Services

Professor Un is an elected representative of Global Strategy Interest Group in the Strategic Management Society, member of the editorial board of Organization Studies, and member of Academy of Management, Academy of International Business, and Strategic Management Society.
