Industry and Academic Experience
Prior to joining the Accounting faculty at College of Business Administration at Northeastern University, Professor Bame-Aldred served as Assistant Professor at Washington State University. He also has industry experience and worked as Controller for First Union Capital Markets Corporation, a $5 billion securities firm, and as Audit Senior Manager for KPMG Peat Marwick. Professor Bame-Aldred organized the Washington State University Department of Accounting Government Fraud Symposium in 2006 and served as Chair at the Washington State University White Collar Crime Symposium in 2003. He also partnered with Cougar Athletics to arrange speakers for the Athlete Personal Development Program. Professor Bame-Aldred delivered seminars during 2004 and 2005 for the Future Cougars of Color Program. He also delivered several seminars during 2004 and 2005 for the Washington State University Multicultural Center.
Professional Services
Professor Bame-Aldred currently is a reviewer for the Journal of Forensic Accounting. In the past, he served as reviewer for the Contemporary Accounting Review.
