Marjorie Platt The Fall semester has been very busy for the Accounting Group. Student interest in accounting at both the undergraduate and graduate levels remains strong. We continue to recruit new faculty to meet the growing demand for our educational services. The faculty are publishing in excellent journals and our rankings for the entire University continue to rise.

College of Business Administration and MSCPA Team Up

In April, Northeastern University and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs hosted a conference for high school students to introduce them to the Accounting Profession. Over 60 students and their teachers attended from 10 area high schools.

Northeastern Undergraduate CPA Exam Scores

Since 2005, the number of undergraduate candidates from Northeastern University taking the CPA Examination more than tripled to 149, and the pass rates for all 4 parts of the exam improved by 79% in that time.
