The Master of Accounting program is comprised of 30 credits and is approved by the Massachusetts Board of Accountancy. The program is designed to be completed on a full-time basis, in either two consecutive summer terms or consecutive summer and fall semesters.
Students may receive transfer credit for a maximum of 9 credits. A minimum of 21 credits must be taken within the College of Business Administration. A grade point average of 3.000 is required for graduation.
Elective Courses (One finance elective & one business elective)
In addition, certain common body of knowledge business course requirements, along with course coverage in specific areas of accounting, must be met as a prerequisite. It is expected that candidates will have earned an undergraduate degree in accounting or its equivalent with, at a minimum, the following accounting courses: 2 semesters of Intermediate level accounting, 1 semester of Cost Accounting, 1 semester of Auditing, 1 semester of Taxation, and 1 semester of Business Law. The program advisor will identify additional coursework for applicants who lack a prerequisite.

Provided a candidate will graduate with 120 credits at the baccalaureate level.
