Professor Livanis has research and teaching interests in the areas of Applied Econometrics, Firm Theory and Management, International Economics, Financial Economics, and Information and Uncertainty.

Prior to joining Northeastern University’s College of Business Administration, Professor Livanis taught at Babson College and the University of Florida.

Professional Services

Professor Livanis has served as a reviewer for scholarly journals such as American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Review of Development Economics, Applied Economics, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Environmental and Resource Economics, Journal of Agricultural and Food Industrial Organization, and Journal of Agricultural and Applied Economics. Professor Livanis is a member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of International Business, Academy of Management, American Economic Association, and Econometric Society.
